Abstract :
Could we bleach all the teeth ? That’s the question of many dentists. My view based on 36 years of bleaching
experience at the Catholic University of Leuven (KULeuven) says that we could not provide bleaching treatments
for every patient. It has his restrictions. We also know that bleaching is not permanent and it is unpredictable as it is
not known how the teeth will respond to the bleaching. It also depends on which method or system we use. First we
have to know the etiology of discoloration and which one could we bleach. The indication and contra-indication is
also an important point to have a succesfull bleaching. Which bleaching method could we use for Non-vital and vital
bleaching? Home bleaching or in-office bleaching? Has Läser bleaching the best bleaching results?
A totaly new concept of veneering : the Glamsmile concept. For those patients we could not bleach theirs teeth.
We only need 2 appointments in the office to make and place the veneers.
