Abstract :
It is well known that the crown form of the prosthetic restoration can produce good dental esthetic results.  However
abnormal tooth shape and improper contours of prosthetic restorations may negatively influence the outline of the
interdental soft tissues; especially, the subgingival form of the prosthetic restoration considering the influence of
the morphology of the interdental papilla. If this is the case, the problems are usually the interproximal distance
between roots and the distance between the contact point and the alveolar crest.
I will suggest that the interproximal distance between roots and the distance between the contact point and the
alveolar crest have an independent and combined effect on the morphology of interproximal papillae through some
clinical cases.
