Abstract :
General Synopsis : The dramatic improvement in the overall population oral health as well as the growing concern of
patients for dental aesthetics and also tissue preservation has rejuvenated “free-hand bonding” and made it a
primary treatment option in the smile frame. Due to the tremendous progresses made in their optical properties and
application technique, modern composite resins offer conservative, biological and aesthetic solutions to many
problems, which formerly could only be approached by expensive and more invasive ceramic restorations. In fact,
their only remaining drawback is practitioner experience and knowledge of their aesthetic potential.
This program will cover treatment rationale and integration of direct composites and other conservative techniques
such as recontouring, bleaching and microabrasion in a comprehensive approach to dental aesthetics. A detailed
description of clinical procedures with ample clinical documentation and high-magnification video footage will
complete the program and provide attendees with the full topic picture.
